As an HCI researcher and mechanical engineer, I am interested in solving problems at the intersection of digital and physical interactions. My interests lie in exploring mechanical elements, materials, and sensing. During my PhD I worked at the University of Tokyo, where I
was advised by professor Yasuaki Kakehi. I also interned as a VR developer at REACT Neuro and GREE Japan. My current research is supported by the Crown Prince's International Scholarship Program.
Non-academic passions: digital art & animation, game design, and languages (Japanese, Korean, Chinese).
